I live in Richmond, Virginia, and for the past few years, I’ve been on a mission to get my in-ground pool removed. I can honestly say that I think I called every contractor I could find over a span of three years. It was a frustrating process, but I am so glad I found Bill and his team at Remove A Pool Virginia. From the moment I spoke with them, I felt like they were the right choice I just really wanted the actual work to go as well as promised. They were a lot higher in price than a bunch of contractors but more affordable than some of the estimates I received, but they also offered way more value in their package in my opinion. Bill’s team included everything I needed for the complete removal of my pool. I’ve never removed a pool I don’t know what’s needed so I was hoping and trusting. I hate that I had to dip into my savings and pay thousands of dollars for to remove a pool at my families house but I can’t recommend them enough. If I had to do this project again I would use Bill and his team again I highly recommend them. Luis, David and Joaquin were amazing. I am so thankful for them. Good job guys and thanks. One thing that did cause some frustration was the permitting process. It took about three weeks for Jamie to secure my permit. Some contractors had claimed they could get it in just a few days, but I’m not sure how truthful that was. However, I really appreciated how Jamie kept me updated throughout the process. I felt informed even though it seemed to take a little longer than it should have. When the crew arrived, I could see right away that they were some of the hardest working individuals I’ve ever encountered. I will say, there was quite a bit of mess, and my yard was pretty torn up. There were huge ruts, dirt everywhere but it seemed very managed and when I spoke to Bill he mentioned Don taught him “worksite management” . I guess it seemed like they were trying to keep it managed and not a complete mess everywhere. One last piece of advice: be prepared for the cost of removing an in-ground pool. It’s more than what you might read online but after seeing everything involved—trucks, heavy equipment, and the sheer amount of work—the value I received felt like a great deal. I still hate that I had to do this project. It it was time. I highly recommend these guys. Definitely ask for Luis, David and Joaquin to do your pool fill in.
